New Offering!

Studio Memberships

Old School Art Studio is diversifying our offerings to meet the needs of the community. Starting in 2025 we will begin implementing a monthly membership to gain access to the studio on your own time. There are a limited number of memberships and the options are either for a solo rental or shared.

Membership Options

  • Solo Rental is just what it sounds like: you are the only person with access to the studio on that day. This option can be used by individuals, Art Therapists looking to use the space or other professionals. The studio may not be used to offer classes during your rental.

    2 day week: $700 month

    3 days week: $900 month

    Available Days: Tuesday, Friday, Sunday

  • The Solo Rental requires a 6 month commitment.

Shared Rental

  • The Shared Rental is available for a max of 4 people per day. Members will have access to the studio anytime during their 24 hr rental day. Locked storage is available to each member.

  • 1 day: $200 month ($50 week)

    2 day: $300 month ($75 week)

    3 day: $400 month ($100 week)

  • For the Shared Rental, a minimum of 3 months commitment is required.

What’s the what?

Shared vs Solo Rental:

The Solo Rental is a great option for someone who needs a lot of space, or complete quiet. This option is also great for Art Therapists, writers or others wanting to use the space in a professional way.

The Shared Rental functions just like a typical open studio, where several creators can be present one time. It is cost effective and more social.

Available Hours:

Each member will have their own keys to the studio and will be able to come and go as they please during their rented day(s). The current rental days are: Tuesday, Friday, Sunday. Saturday is a freebie for members, with the caveat that there are some Saturdays the studio is unavailable - that will be clearly communicated in advance.

Clay:

Each member gets their own storage shelf.

Equipment: 2 wheels, slab roller, extruder, slab molds, banding wheels, glazes & underglazes

Electric kiln, cone 5/6

$30 per bag of clay: red or white

Firing: (1 fee for both bisque/glaze firing)
