Summer Camps 2024

Monday - Friday: 9am-3pm.
Unfortunately at this time I cannot accommodate early drop-off or aftercare.

All students should have:
water bottle
snack & lunch
comfortable shoes (no slides)
clothes that can get messy

Everyday for lunch we will walk to Volunteers Green (the playground) to eat and have time outdoors. Please be sure to have comfortable shoes for walking/running around.
We are generally outside for 1 hr. If a student would like to bring a book or sketchbook during this time, that is certainly ok.
2024 Schedule:

Sculpture - Float Design: June 24-28
Ages: 8+
Spend the week using cardboard, paper-mache, plaster and wood to create a series of sculptures. Students will participate in making their own projects and a group collaboration for the 4th of July Parade.

Sculpture Week 2: July 1-3
Ages: 8+
Spend the week using cardboard, paper-mache, plaster and wood to create a series of sculptures. Students will participate in continuing a group collaboration for the 4th of July Parade.

Sewing 1 & 2: July 8- 12
Ages: 8+
This is a great camp for new sewers and for students who have taken Sewing 1 at the studio before. All projects will be different and focus on the fundamentals of hand sewing & machine sewing.

Advanced Sewing: July 15-19
Ages: 10+
This camp is for students with a solid understanding of sewing. We will sew a pair shorts, alter a top and make a zippered pouch.

Stop Motion Animation: July 22-26
Ages: 8+
This camp will be a design your own adventure theme. Students will spend the week designing characters, a story line & set for their short movie.
